Criteria for the TLC Enterprise, LLC Scholarship

TLC Enterprise, LLC is proud to offer a $500 scholarship each year to a graduating male and female high school senior. To qualify for application, students must meet the following requirements:

 

• Graduating from an accredited high school this academic year

• Be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident Card), or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA)

• A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

• Planning to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited higher education institution in the fall directly after graduation from high school

 

Students must write an essay that answers the following questions:

1. What college would you like to attend and why?

2. In your own words, explain what anger management is and some settings where it is most needed and why.

3. Discuss a time where you had to use effective anger management strategies to resolve a situation and explain what strategies you used

4. Essay must be a minimum of 500 words

 

Other requirement:

• Must have completed 2 community service projects and be able to provide signed and dated letters from agency, etc.

• Official copy of your academic transcript

• Completed Application
